Victor Patrascan VHS mini-special

I was about 11 the first time I watched stand up comedy. I stole a tape from an old lady who used to live down the road from me. She had no left arm cause she lost it on a bet. Later that year, the tape was stolen from me, probably by a hungry Bulgarian boy. This is Eastern European recycling. We used to have a really heavy TV conected to a VCR from East Germany and I remember the VHS tape was originally of Bernardo Bertolucci's 'Last Tango in Parris' but someone recorded episodes of 'Comedy Central Presents' on top of the movie. The tape cover had yellow borders from being handled too many times nd it smelled like mothballs and cigarettes. I can vaguely recollect 4 or 5 comedians doing 20 minute sets. I think Lewis Black, Dave Attell, Kathleen Madigan and Jim Gaffigan. Probably Greg Giraldo and Mitch Hedberg as well. I don't remember exactly, but the memory of that experience and that tape inspired me to make this video. It's a collection of jokes hastily glued together like my memory of me watching stand up for the first time. It's a bunch of moments from different timelines, all smooshed togeher into a vague identity of one individual and an argument for humanity.
